    I’m excited for them a! I think the biggest thing this year’s books will bring is a lot of diversity and a lot of #ownvoices authors. I feel like we’re getting more and more representation as each year passes and it makes me so happy. Specifically, I see lots of Asian-inspired fantasies written by Asian authors. And as an Asian myself, it.   For the purposes of this blog post, diverse books means books that feature African American, Asian American, Hispanic and or Native American main characters. There are lots of books, such as my beloved David series by David Shannon that show diverse children, but they are not the main characters.
